Adam Walsh is the third and youngest child of Josh and Sarah Walsh. He was born in Greenwich, CT and has been a resident of Connecticut for his entire life. Josh Walsh, Adam's father, was a sucessful insurance executive while his mother was a homemaker. The Walsh family decends from a long line in the Northeastern United States, dating back to the landing of the Mayflower. Adam had a priviledged childhood and was taught from a young age to give back to the people of his community and to America. As with the rest of his family, Adam continues to be a praticing Lutheran.
Adam attended the best private schools in Connecticut, where he excelled in the classroom and in athletics. Adam's sport of choice was lacrosse. In college, Adam was captain of Yale's lacrosse team and it is rumored that he is a member of the secret society, Skull and Bones.
After completing his studies, Adam went to work on Wall Street for several different investment banks, rising quickly through the executive ranks. When the 4th District's Congressman retired, Adam ran for the seat and won by a wide margin.
Adam is married to Heather Preston Walsh and the couple lives in Greenwich, CT with their two sons.
