I can move if you'd like -- I didn't know you were in the same district and I was looking for a conservative Minnesota district.

As I said, it technically doesn't matter in game, but both the 2nd and 6th districts are also fairly conservative.

He returned home in 1983 and worked in the private sector in North Carolina. He also married during the Reagan years and had his children then. He was elected to Congress for the sixth district in North Carolina for the United States Congress in 1990 as a Republican.

In November 1992, Congressman Holden Sawyer was elected to the U.S. Senate as the Shenandoah Valley's Junior US Senator. The margin was 49.94-49.41%; the second closest Senate race in the nation. He is not due to stand for re-election til 1998.

In his victory he carried Virginia, Tennessee, and the deciding state, his home state of North Carolina.
